5/6 Students as Service Valley were given the task of naming a chicken. This may not seem like a big deal to most people. However, this particular chicken is....DEAD!
As a writing prompt we are going to mummify a chicken. The students were given the task of picking a name for the poor chicken. They then had to write persuasive papers in order to persuade me to pick the name they chose. I decided that King Kluck was the perfect fit for our project.
Stage Two: Students will write Narratives telling the life of the great King Kluck.
