This is a video I shot last year during the earthquake project.
The building that falls withstood several seconds of pounding before falling... 4/5 did an excellent job and put a lot of work into their building. I think they will probably try a different design this year.
8th grade had a solid building design from the beginning. They used glue sticks for the support walls to help the building sway. If you watch closely in the video you will see the building absorb a lot of the energy from the earthquake because of this unique design. Good job! The project will continue this year with new buildings and ideas. The project will NOT be crammed into a 9 weeks like last year... I'll have more videos to upload at the end of the year.
