Firefighters Visit Service Valley

October 6th-12th was Fire Prevention Week and Service Valley celebrated by having Neosho Township firefighters come and teach the students about fire safety. Jed Head discussed the proper use of 9-1-1 and many other topics such as "escape plans" for exiting the home in case of a fire and the "Stop, Drop and Roll" method. Keith Keller blasted the trucks' siren and shot water clear across the parking lot, while the children roared with excitement. We would like to thank Jed Head, Keith Keller, Jim Lubbers and Jerry McKinney for visiting our school.
