Saturday March 29, 2008, the Lady Indians traveled to Riverton to play a double header. It was their first game of the season. The first game was a rough one for the Lady Indians.They could get the bat on the ball, but the ball was just not flying anywhere. The girls had a hard time on defense. The game ended 0-11. The second game was better. The girls held them to the fifth inning. The team finally connected as one; although, the girls still lost 1-7. The girls were supposed to play again March 31, 2008. However, four games have been cancelled due to rain. They are hoping to play April 14, 2008 against Chetopa at Chetopa.
