Nanny McKae Arrives Bringing Awards

Students and staff at SVCA were surprised to see Nanny McKae arrive at their recent awards assembly. She returned early from her recent vacation in the Bahamas to present awards. K-1 and 2-3 classes received awards for passing 446 AR tests during semester 1. The challenge to complete was 100. A "Cracked Up" award went to Avery Adkins. Miss Avery has been very polite to a particular teacher (me) after a messy egg situation during our fall harvest. The final award "Pellet Picker Upper" went to Brandon Bateman for keeping the sidewalks clean. Check out the slideshow for the awards presented by Nanny McKae.
