The Adventures of Cletus Ralphie Smucker

A couple of months have passed since Cletus Ralphie Smucker left our school to travel the world. He has meet hundreds of people, visited many places, and returned with photos and memorabilia. The 2nd and 3rd grade students, at SVCA, have been busy reading and writing letters, looking at pictures, memorabilia, and mapping the travels of Cletus. Below is a list of places CR has visited since November.
* Gulf Shores, Alabama (He at lunch at the Original Oyster House with Miss Skinner's grandma.)
* Collinsville and Owasso, Oklahoma
* Colorado Springs, Colorado (Pike's Peak and Olympic Training Facility)
* Miranda Lambert concert
* Trip with Ms. Turner to California (Phoenix, AR; Fresno, CA; Porterville, CA; Visalia, CA; Strathmore, CA; Yucca Valley, CA; Morongo Valley, CA; Menofee, CA)
* Jamestown, NY (Lucille Ball and Dezi Arnaz Center)
* Pittsburgh, PA (Steelers playoff game against the Chargers)

Note: This continues to be an awesome project for the 2-3 students and the other students in our building. The enthusiasm of those fun loving folks who have sent information back has made our world geography project a success.
