Kitra Cooper Presents Agricultural Program to SVCA

Kitra Cooper, K-State Research and Extension Office, presented an agricultural program to the 2nd and 3rd grade class at SVCA. This was a opportunity for students to gain knowledge about agriculture and understanding of how our charter school ties into agriculture.
Students investigated seeds, classified products with farm animals, identified a variety of words and definitions, and picked apart a pizza to find out all the food groups. We would like to thank Mrs. Cooper for visiting our class.
