Students at Neosho Heights Elementary arrived at school today to learn they had a new principal for the day. A Chicken Principal!
Mrs. Sanders, our fearless leader announced to the students during a pep assembly that she would wear a chicken suit to school if the 3rd-5th grade students performed well on their Reading and Math Kansas State Assessments. The students worked hard each and every day to prepare for the upcoming test. All the hard work paid off as the students did a wonderful job on the test.
Students and staff attended an assembly in the gym at 8:15 this morning. Chicken Principal arrived carrying a large sign saying "We Are Proud Of You!" Chicken Principal then lead the entire student body to participate in the Chicken Dance.
All staff at Neosho Heights would like to let everyone know how proud we are of all our students!
