USD 504 Receives Grant from Parsons Area Community Foundation

USD 504 recently received a grant in the amount of $2,000 from the Parsons Area Community Foundation. OHS Community Service Day

On Wednesday, April 12th grades 9-12 participated in a community service day.  At  noon , the students were treated to a BBQ and enjoyed the sunshine. Several games were setup including board games, corn hole, washers, ladder ball and volleyball. We are fortunate to live in such a supportive community and this is a just a small way for USD 504 to give back.  Projects included: Public Library – Outside . . .

James Gilpin hired as Neosho Heights Principal

At a Special Board meeting on Wednesday, April 5th, the USD 504 BOE officially approved James Gilpin as the Neosho Heights Elementary Principal for the 2017-18 school year.  Mr. Gilpin currently teaches in Altamont-Labette County USD 506.  Mr. Gilpin has MS in building administration from Emporia State University and a BS in Agriculture Education from Kansas State University. New School Website for 2017-18 School Year

USD 504 will be receiving a new school website for the 2017-18 school year. The redesign will have a completely different look and feel along with a few additional features.
