The spotlight of responsibility is shining brightly on Lily Baker. Lily is a 7th grade student at OJSHS. Teachers have good news about the kind of responsibility Lily demonstrates. It is reported that Lily is an independent thinker and not influenced negatively by anyone around her. She is organized, comes to class prepared and stays on task. She takes the same responsible approach to extra-curricular activities. Lily is involved in cheerleading, band, quiz bowl, volleyball, and the school musical. When asked what being responsible means to her, she replied, “To me, responsibility means to be independent or to take care of things. It could mean to be ready for class or to have your supplies for class and have your work done.” These are skills that will continue to lead this young lady to success. Lily, we appreciate your example of responsibility. Keep up the good work!
