OJSHS spotlight on respect features Alexa Stafford. Alexa is a junior and is involved in scholars’ bowl and science club. She says, “To me, respect is admiring someone, especially someone in authority. I think it can be lost rather easily, and it is something to be earned.” Alexa has demonstrated and earned respect at OJSHS. Her teachers report, “Alexa is such a pleasant young lady. She greets others with a smile and demonstrates kindness. She respects herself by working to high standards, and she respects others with her willingness to listen and appropriately and compassionately respond.”
Alexa says the best aspect of our school is that the teachers are very kind, and whenever someone needs help, it is always available. After high school Alexa plans to study either physics or epidemiology. She is still considering her post-secondary college options.
Alexa, we are so glad you are a part of the OJSHS family. Keep up the good work!
