Mrs. Hucke and Ms. Schmidt's kindergarten classes have been very busy learning all about plants. We started the unit by discussing parts of plants, followed by how plants grow and what plants need to live. We have been able to use our Community Garden here at Neosho Heights to observe and care for a variety of vegetable plants. We hope to cook with some of the vegetables in the near future. First graders have stress, too! Spelling tests are high stress for some first graders so the kids in 1B at Neosho Heights engaged in a stress-buster before their spelling test.
