Powerlifting

Oswego Junior-Senior High School participated in St. Paul's Powerlifting meet on Saturday, February 19th. Coach Fowler took several Indians to the meet, and the results are listed below. There are several top place finishes as these students worked hard and represented well. Way to go, Indians!

Girls finished 2nd as a team.

Angel George placed 3rd in Clean and 4th in the 123 weight class.

Kylee Johnston placed 1st in all 3 events and won the 132 weight class.

Kadie Folk placed 2nd in squat 3rd in bench 3rd in clean and 3rd overall in the 132 weight class.

Lizzie Ramirez placed 2nd in squat 2nd in bench 1st in clean and 2nd overall in the 140 weight class.

Engracia LaDene placed 1st in all 3 lifts and won the Powerweight class.

The boys tied for second place as a team. It was very competitive as only 2 points separated the first place and two second place teams.

Hunter Kelly placed 1st in squat and bench and 2nd in clean. He won the 140 weight class.

Josh Hutchinson placed 2nd in squat and bench and 1st in clean. He placed second in the 140 weight class.

David Figura placed 2nd in squat 2nd in bench and 3rd in clean to finish 2nd place in the 148 weight class.

Levi George finished 4th in the 148 weight class.

Alex Long finished 4th in the 156 weight class.

Jon Frisbie placed 2nd in bench and 1st in clean. He was 2nd in the 173 weight class.

Tanner O’Neal finished 5th in the 173 weight class.

Connor Minor placed 3rd in bench and 2nd in clean. He finished 4th in the 220 weight class.

Coleman Murphy finished 1st in squat, 3rd in bench and 2nd in clean to win the Powerweight class.

Patrick Doyle was 2nd in squat, 1st in bench and 1st in clean. He placed 2nd in the Powerweight class.
