On Wednesday, December 13, we had our first Connections to Success Christmas party! Mentors and mentees participated in a gingerbread building contest, Christmas Kahoot, and gift exchange, all while enjoying yummy snacks and hot chocolate! There were lots of smiles and laughs shared by all!
Connections to Success is a new mentoring program for SVCA and OJSHS students in 6-8th grade. Students are partnered with adults in the community to help foster positive relationships. Mentors and mentees participate in quarterly events. Many mentors have even been spotted cheering on their mentees at concerts, games, and even practices!
