Summer is almost here, and soon, we will start preparing for the year ahead. Games are played on the field and court, but champions are made in the offseason. To take this program to the next level, we must outwork our opponents in the summer. Putting in the work before the season starts is vital to getting our program to compete and to help accomplish team and individual goals. Showing up regularly demonstrates that you are invested in becoming the best you can be. We hope to see you here often!
Summer workouts start Monday, June 3.

Today's Baseball and Softball games at Southeast have been cancelled. These were games that were rescheduled from April 25th.

Today's HS track meet at Neodesha has been cancelled. This was a make-up date that was postponed from April 25th.

I am so proud of these two. They worked so hard today. We laughed and we laughed some more. These two have such great attitudes and are fun to be around. Their laughter is infectious. We are not coming home with anything tangible but we are coming home with some great memories and some ideas for next year. Getting to this level their first year was a huge accomplishment and then facing 38 schools is another accomplishment in itself. It's a great day to be an Indian!

Today's (5/2) baseball and softball games against Uniontown have been cancelled due to the most recent batch of rain.

POMS (Parents of Middle Schoolers) will be needing new leadership next school year. Many thanks to Sonya Ezell who has done a wonderful job in the position for the past few years. POMS is primarily responsible for the two Junior High Dances and financing the 8th Grade Trip. The raising of the necessary finances is primarily done through the running of the concession stand during our home track meets each spring. We always host at least two meets (one HS and one JH) and on occasion will also host a league meet. We are the scheduled host of the 2025 Mineral Belt League Meet. Without the help of POMS, the Junior High Dances and the 8th Grade Trip would not be possible. If interested in filling this vital leadership need, contact Rob Schneeberger at OJSHS, 620-795-2125.

The baseball/softball games from Thursday, 4/25 at Southeast, have been rescheduled for Monday, May 6th at 4:30 at Southeast.
