On Wednesday, December 4 Oswego will be having their Christmas parade. Because of that, we will not have archery practice at NEHI on Wednesday, December 4. We will have practice on Saturday, December 7 to make up for the lost practice time. Practice on Saturday will begin at 5:30 pm. Mrs. Kapler also will not be able to have archery practice at Service Valley after school on Wednesday, December 4. She will be able to stay after school on Tuesday, December 3 however for those that are interested.

Second archery practice of the year tonight. We have averaged around 40 archers each night. This includes 4th thru 12th grade students. We are seeing improved numbers in the high school age group. That gets the coach really pumped up to see that. The coaches have been extremely impressed with the performances of our new shooters from the 4th grade. They have picked it up pretty fast. The experienced shooters we have returning have picked up right where they left off last year. Many of our shooters are putting together some really good arrow groups. Is going to be a really fun year if we improve on what we are shooting now. Congratulations goes out to Brooklyn Hazel. Brooklyn shot her first perfect round of 50 tonight. Awesome job Brooklyn!
Good afternoon: The Labette County Sheriff's Department has notified the district that they will be landing the Life Flight helicopter will be landing on our practice field shortly. None of our students or staff are involved in this occurrence. Thank You.
The game with CedarVale/Dexter has been moved to December 6th from the 20th. Girls play at 6pm followed by the boys at 7:30pm. There will be JV games simultaneous in the MS Gym.
This means that the Alumni Scrimmage will be cancelled for that night. May reschedule for a later date.
High School boys basketball parent meeting will be this Sunday the 24th at 4pm in the high schools commons area followed by the red/white scrimmage and team pictures.
