Second archery practice of the year tonight. We have averaged around 40 archers each night. This includes 4th thru 12th grade students. We are seeing improved numbers in the high school age group. That gets the coach really pumped up to see that. The coaches have been extremely impressed with the performances of our new shooters from the 4th grade. They have picked it up pretty fast. The experienced shooters we have returning have picked up right where they left off last year. Many of our shooters are putting together some really good arrow groups. Is going to be a really fun year if we improve on what we are shooting now. Congratulations goes out to Brooklyn Hazel. Brooklyn shot her first perfect round of 50 tonight. Awesome job Brooklyn!

If you did not receive the automatic, one-time $120
payment (per eligible child) in July, you can apply today.
Children who attended a Kansas school participating in the National School Lunch or School Breakfast Program and were eligible to get free or reduced-price meals during the 2023-2024 school year, whether or not they actually received free or reduced-price meals, may be eligible for this benefit.
Applications must be received by 5 p.m., Oct. 15, 2024.

Oswego Jr-Sr High School Band Camp will be this week, July 29 - August 2, from 5:00 - 8:00 pm. High school only on Monday and Tuesday, and the 7-12 members on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

There's going to be a meeting for all high school and junior high football players and their parents this Thursday, August 1st at 6:30 pm in the high school library. This is a must-attend event, so make sure to mark your calendars. At the meeting, we'll be going over some key information like equipment checkout, practice schedules, and the team rules. This is your chance to get all the details you need before the season kicks off. So come on out this Thursday at 6:30 in the HS library. I would like to invite you to Indian Team Football Camp. The camp will be held on July 15, 16, 18, and 19 at the football practice field (behind the high school). The high school camp will run from 5:00-7:00 pm and the junior high camp will run from 7:00-8:30pm. This is a non contact camp. Players need cleats as the only equipment. There will be a $22 camp fee to be paid upon entrance. Each camper will receive a T-shirt during the school year. Make checks payable to Matt Fowler.
I also would like to remind all parents and athletes that each student who is participating in athletics this year for Oswego Middle/High School must have a physical and concussion form submitted to the High School office before official practices begin in August. (This does not apply to camp.) The forms needed can be found on the school’s website.

The camp sessions will run from 6:00-7:30 pm. This is a non contact camp focused on learning fundamentals of the game of football. Players will need no equipment (although if they do own a pair of cleats it would be great if they would bring them.) There will be a $15 camp fee to be paid upon entrance.
